Nomos bridges that gap, combining institutional governance, applied research, and distributed-ledger engineering to create trusted, regulator-aligned rails for both fund issuance and sovereign-asset liquidity in the UK.

We are developing the infrastructure that will connect to the UK’s regulated digital-asset networks.

Our work begins with two complementary research proposals:

Florin™️ a gilt-backed liquidity pilot aligned with HM Treasury’s Digital Gilt Instrument (DIGIT) programme, which is exploring on-chain settlement, interoperability and transparency in UK sovereign-debt markets

Both projects are led by Nomos Research, exploriing collaboration with UK universities and Innovate UK.

The research outputs will form the basis for Nomos Markets, which will commercialise the resulting frameworks once regulatory approvals are complete.

Our research combines policy analysis with prototype engineering - designing data models, messaging schemas, and proof-of-reserve logic that regulators can directly test inside the sandbox.

Tokenisation architecture – ledger design, unit-register logic, and event-driven settlement workflows for authorised participants.
Gilt-backed liquidity (Florin Digital) – modelling issuance, NAV calculation, and redemption cycles for short-dated gilt pools.
Zero-knowledge compliance – zk-proof prototypes for reserves, liquidity ratios, and supervisor-reporting attestations.
Interoperability – schema mapping between the Digital Gilt rails, DSS messaging standards, and ISO 20022 events defined in the HM Treasury DIGIT update.
